Following a lower-scoring Week 6 that saw a lot of injuries fill-ins and bye weeks, the waiver wire still has a number of quality players that could provide your team starts in the coming weeks. Adding the right players could pay dividends and win your league, while missing on players could cost you a playoff appearance or championship. We’ve compiled a list of over 20 players to add from the waiver wire in your redraft leagues!
Not all these players may be available, but the general guideline I follow is under 60% rostered within normal Sleeper leagues. This should give you more than enough viable options to add to your squad and hopefully contribute in weeks to come.

Taylor Heinicke – QB, Washington Commanders (1% rostered)
Carson Wentz is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a fractured finger, so especially if you’re in a superflex league Heinicke should be a priority waiver add. He had incredibly solid production when he was starting in 2021, and his rushing upside provides a solid weekly floor – a must add in SF leagues.
Brian Robinson – RB, Washington Commanders (70% rostered)
It was amazing to see Robinson back on the field in a starting role following what happened during the preseason, and he received 17 touches and scored a touchdown against the Bears on TNF. It seems like Robinson has taken the early-down work from Antonio Gibson, and should be added to your roster in any league available.
Tyler Allgeier – RB, Atlanta Falcons (60% rostered)
Following Week 4, Cordarrelle Patterson was put on the IR with a knee injury which opened the door for Allgeier and Caleb Huntley to see an increased roll. While Allgeier’s fantasy production has been limited since then, he has faced off against San Francisco and Tampa Bay, two of the best (if not the best) run defenses in the league. During that time, he has averaged 14 touches and should continue to see solid work moving forward. With four easier games after Cincinnati, grab Allgeier before he pops off.
Latavius Murray – RB, Denver Broncos (18% rostered)
With Javonte Williams sidelined for the rest of the season with an ACL injury, the Broncos signed Murray to boost their RB depth. He had a productive game, leading the team with 16 touches while Melvin Gordon watched on the sideline. While he may not receive this share of touches every week, he was productive when given the ball and should continued to be utilized by a RB-needy offense.
Chase Claypool – WR, Pittsburgh Steelers (57% rostered)
Claypool has been receiving a steady 6 targets this year, but turned in his first big performance going for 104 all-purpose yards and a touchdown. Even with Pickett in concussion protocol, Claypool caught his first touchdown of the year from Mitch Trubisky. He should be viewed as a flex play with major boom-or-bust potential moving forward, especially against Miami next week.
Rondale Moore – WR, Arizona Cardinals (60% rostered)
Moore was a popular drop candidate at the start of the year due to missing the first three games, and Hopkins expected to return week 7. He’s averaged nearly 8 targets per game since he’s returned, and with Hollywood Brown expected to miss more time he’s in line for an uptick in targets regardless of Hopkin’s status.
Alec Pierce – WR, Indianapolis Colts (54% rostered)
Pierce has had an amazing past few weeks, averaging just under 6 targets and just over 12 fantasy points per week and never straying too far from those numbers. He has stepped into the role of WR2 under Michael Pittman on this offense, and is worth a roster spot to help during bye weeks. He may not have as high of a ceiling as some other rookies, but should provide consistent flex production.
Daniel Bellinger – TE, New York Giants (7% rostered)
The Giant’s offense was a huge question mark coming into the season, and nobody was considering drafting a single Giants TE in standard redraft leagues. Bellinger is currently the TE14 even without being involved Week 1, and has put together a number of solid fantasy performances the past couple of weeks. With desolate TE depth with bye weeks underway, Bellinger could be a great addition moving forward.
